Dealing emotionally with the death of a loved one is naturally a difficult and stressful time.
The complexity of the associated financial issues, administrative processes and taxation can be an additional strain and most clients require a measure of support. We have developed a range of service options to either support your role as executor or take the full burden off your shoulders.
Our extensive experience in dealing with both contentious and non-contentious estate administration means that we are well equipped to deal with a wide range of issues which extend beyond the simple mechanics of the administration. In particular we have extensive experience of dealing with the estates of vulnerable people such as those who have been patients of the Court of Protection and / or the victims of financial abuse. We have recovered significant sums of money for our clients’ estates through both civil and criminal proceedings against their abusers.
In addition to our estate administration services we support ongoing trust arrangements through our trust administration service and advise upon tax planning opportunities such as the use of deeds of variation.
As such our clients can be assured that their loved ones will have the support they need after their death.
Estate Administration Procedure
When someone dies, their financial affairs need to be dealt with. This is called ‘administering the estate’ and the procedure will depend upon whether the deceased left a Will.
Service Options
In accordance with our pricing philosophy we have established three levels of service to fit our clients’ chosen budgets.
