Vicky Lumb

Director

Vicky is a Director of both Stonegate Legal and Stonegate Trust Corporation acting as deputy, attorney, executor and trustee in a wide range of cases.

Vicky began her legal career in 2003 as a conveyancing executive working for a city centre law firm, but moved into contentious and non-contentious private client and Court of Protection practice in November 2014, qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in January 2017.

Her caseload consists of complex Court of Protection matters which includes numerous financial abuse cases where it has been necessary to forensically analyse accounts in order to trace and locate missing monies both in the UK and abroad.  This often involves working closely with local authorities and the Police.

Vicky regularly advises professional and lay attorneys, deputies and trustees on contentious and non-contentious Court of Protection cases.  This includes Wills and Statutory Will applications; Lasting Powers of Attorney advice; deputyship appointment and removal applications; deputy bond enforcement applications and the securing of statutory funding.
